With the milepost showing forty and a half miles from Aberdeen, Huntly signal box is seen in its full UPVC glory! Until it was 'improved' it was typical compact Great North of Scotland wooden structure dating from 1890 being effectively a mini version of Elgin central, see.....

Despite the recent work undertaken the box is facing closure in the next couple of years with the resignalling of the line between Inverness and Aberdeen.
