The white building to the top right of the image is the former station master's house with the station located across the entire area in the foreground. Roade's station closed on 07.09.64. much to the chagrin of many residents of the village. There has been continuous discussion over recent years regarding its reopening and with the village growing in size at a dramatic rate and the terrible overcrowding at both Northampton and Milton Keynes stations the case becomes even more compelling......
