Our tickets on the Caledonian Sleeper were eligible for a tw0-together discount bringing the fare down to a reasonable £112 each. As can be seen, we shared a twin birth cabin in Coach F and found the whole experience very nice. Whilst a little cramped, and neither Andy or I are big chaps, we slept well. I was woken twice, once when some splitting and shunting took place at Edinburgh Waverley and a number of times by Andy's snoring! We both woke properly as we were climbing away from Glasgow up towards Helensburgh and once dressed we sat in the day coach to take in the grandeur of the Highlands from the comfort of a Mk. III!
