90026, CS 21.16 London Euston-Inverness, Fort William & Aberdeen (1S25), London Euston station
It's just before 21.00 with the last vestiges of the day still illuminating the scene at Euston station. 90026 is almost off the end of the very long platform fifteen with the equally long 21.15 sleeper train occupying its entirety. Andy and I would enjoy haulage behind this Class 91 all the way to Scotland with it being detached at Edinburgh Wavelery even though we were in a state of slumber for most of the journey! Notice the evidence of previous operators on the side of the Mk. III sleeper coach in the shape of the First Group logo and the ScotRail wording.
