Since my last visit to Wellingborough station progress has been made on the rebuilding of the old platform five to be renumbered platform four when it opens. Work commenced just under a year ago when I took a photograph from a virtually identical location, see.....

Whilst there is still much work to do, I notice that, rather incongruously, a shelter has been installed amongst all the construction activity!
