With just one former Greater Anglia liveried Mk.II coach spoiling the uniform rake of stock, the outward leg of 'The Robert Burns' charter passes the site of Roade station. The train left Euston at 08.10 and is being led by DB liveried 67013 that certainly brightens up a very dull morning. The charter reached York just after 14.00 leaving only two and a half hours later. This gave the passengers very little time to explore the city let alone to spend an adequate amount of time in the National Railway Museum!
