 The town of Knaresborough is situated just east of Harrogate and is a charming town that is popular with tourists. Looking at this view down by the River Nidd it is easy to understand why it is so popular. Indeed, on the strength of our fleeting visit to collect a car, my boss then spent a long weekend here with his wife a few weeks after this picture was taken. With the glorious viaduct in full view, a Pacer leaves the station, located out of sight to the right, with the 13.11 York to Leeds service.
