It's now 10.25 in the morning and we have been

travelling for an hour and a half and have only got as far as Tamworth from Northampton having been on two trains with the third arriving at the high-level platform three. Unfortunately, there are plenty of passengers waiting to join this already crowded four-car unit that simply does not provide enough capacity on such a principle route. Fortunately, we had seat reservations for our journey to Wakefield Westgate but plenty of travellers did not and had to stand.
