The Railway Touring Company's Cumbrian Coast Express charter heads northpast Victoria bridge in Northamptonshire on a sunny late May morning. The train is led by 90019 that is taking a break from its more usual duties of hauling the sleeper services. Running as 1Z86 the charter left Euston at 07.09 and on arrival at Carnforth had former LMS Royal Scot 46115 'Scots Guardsman' attached to the front for a run around the delightful Cumbrian Coast route as far as Sellafield. |
