and Doncaster depots, HST set EC56 with power cars 43112 and 43206 look absolutely superb as they operate the final leg of the charity Let's go Round Again four-day tour of the routes formally operated by East Coast HSTs. This final leg, running as the 1Z43 11.01 Leeds to King's Cross, is seen on the up slow line passing Offord Cluny just south of Huntingdon. It passed with a crescendo of horn blowing and, as can be seen, a crowded cab! A bit of renumbering added to the authenticity of the event with the front power car in this image, 43312 running with its original number E43112 with the correct set number 254029 applied to the front end. The rear power car was an early Western Region power car from 253003 that carried W43003, as an LNER unit it was numbered 43206 for many years.
