The new Northampton station building opened some three months ago

and is seen in the background in this picture. In the foreground is the framework of the old station, designed by the architect Ray Moorcroft, that was opened in 1966. The view is looking through one of the three 'cowsheds' as they were rather unfortunately referred to!
