A remarkable survivor just north of Peterborough station is Eastfield signal box. It controls ths sidings to the east of the ECML and access to the GBRF depot through a number of semaphores signals. In this view, the rear of the 1893 Great Eastern box is seen that keeps many of its original features including some very tall finials and ornate bargeboards.
