Travelling at the speed they were designed, and originally marketed as (remember InterCity 125?) 43295 leads the 1E17 13.30 Edinburgh to King's Cross on the racetrack between Thirsk and York. At this speed, the Mk. III stock rode relatively well considering it is now approaching forty year's old but they are a little draughty at the carriage ends near the vestibules.
