156475 has just crossed the High Level bridge and is about to enter Newcastle station where it will pause whilst working the 14.18 Nunthorpe to Hexham service. Behind the Super Sprinter is the Turnbull building striking a dramatic pose between the railway and the River Tyne below to its right. This impressive structure was built in 1890 and occupied by the printers R. Robinson & Co. In 1963 it was taken over by Messrs E. & F. Turnbull, a Newcastle-based ironmonger, who used it as a wholesale warehouse and who gave the building its present-day name. Finally, in 2002 it was converted into luxury 'loft' type apartments, whatever they are supposed to be!
