67006 'Royal Sovereign' is seen stabled at the western end

of Newcastle Central station. Whereas the WCML uses class 57s as its thunderbird rescue locomotives, the ECML utilises class 67 that are stabled at various strategic locations up and down the line between King's Cross to Edinburgh.
