 66723 'Chinook' leads the 10.46 Felixstowe North to Lawley Street Freightliner service through Roade cutting. The poor initial framing of the train led me to undertake some dramatic cropping to produce this somewhat different view of the locomotive. At least its large nameplate can be seen, that was unveiled at a ceremony at Wellingborough on 02.09.07 by John Smith, Managing Director of First GBR and the then Station Cdr at RAF Odiham, Group Captain Andy Turner in support of the Royal Air Force. It carries the three squadron plaques of seven, eighteen and twenty-seven Squadron, the three frontline Squadrons at RAF Odiham in Hampshire.
