Pacers have been a common sight at York for thirty years now. By the end of next month, they should be a thing of the past but due to the late arrival of their replacements, I suspect that they will be around for a bit longer yet. To the left, 142012 has just arrived with the 08.50 Doncaster to York ECS working. Meanwhile, over in the bay stabling platform two further units are seen between services. The one nearest the camera is 142091, a unit that I have photographed at York many times.
