Things did not quite to plan due to issues with the OLE north of Colwich. At Stone, we were diverted across to Norton Junction to then head south to Stafford. From there we headed south-east back to our planned route at Colwich Junction. This re-route added a few minutes to arrival time at Milton Keynes as there did appear to be plenty of recovery time within the timings. This could be my last Virgin Pendolino journey before the new operator takes over at the start of December?
