East Midlands Trains are usually pretty expensive when it comes

to making the sixty-five-mile journey to London. However, on this occasion, the outward fare is not too expensive at just under £17 for the three of us. It would have been cheaper, and less bother for us, going via the WCML route but bustitution due to engineering works did not appeal!
