These much-maligned units are supposed to out of squadron service by the 31st December this year (in three months' time) but they were very much in use during my half-hour on Central station. The unit is just about to pass a huge new student accommodation block that extends towards Cardiff West Junction. If I was a student at the university in Cardiff, I would have fancied bagging one of the rooms at the back of this block even it would not get much sun as it faces north!
