I believe that this banjo signal at Worcester Shrub Hill is the only one in operation on the network today if there are any others I am happy to be corrected. This signal is located halfway along with the bi-directional platform one and is complete with a mini calling-on disc. This unique (?) and vintage piece of engineering is being passed by one of the network's most modern trains, 800311 working the 12.13 Hereford to London Paddington. Technology that is decades apart but doing what it was designed to do.
