station also has a number of busy through platforms. This one, platform two serves Sheremetevo airport via a thirty-minute shuttle service that leaves on the hour and half hour. The trains are a little slow, despite having no scheduled intermediate stops, and thus can't really live up to their Aeroexpress name. The services are worked exclusively by the ED4MKM-AERO subset of which there are seven. This family of EMU, that is found all over the RZD network, are built by DMZ at their factory close to Moscow. We travelled on ED4MKM-AERO-0005 to Sheremetevo airport finding the train comfortable and well designed for luggage storage. It was also excellent value for money costing just £13 for the three of us.
