I have said it before and I make no apologies for repeating it, but the drab West Coast Railway livery does nothing for their locomotives and stock. In poor lighting, such as here in the depths of Roade cutting, it looks even worse. 37706 and 37518 lead the outward leg of the oddly named Cosham Completer railtour. The train left Crewe at 05.30 ending up at Portsmouth Harbour. It was a real surprise that it made it to its destination, and close to its booked time, as there was disruption throughout southern England due to extremely strong winds that brought a lot of trees down closing some lines.
