Newsham signal box (NE, date not known) Newsham signal box is seen in the early morning sunshine located at a level crossing on South Newsham Road. If you were to remove the hideous extension with the beach house-like structure on the top the hip-roofed North Eastern Railway structure is remarkably un-molested with its original wooden window frames.
