I think that the livery that TransPennine Express has applied to the class 68s is a bit fussy with too many wooshes and stripes! The problem is exacerbated by the lack of a yellow front end as the lighting arrangements negate a need for it. 68022 'Resolution' awaits its turn to work for TPE as there are, surprise-surprise, huge delays with the introduction of the CAf Mk. IV stock. The name 'Resolution' was also carried by 50018 from April 1978 until its withdrawal in July 1991, a locomotive that I photographed a number of times.
