Where once Willesden Depot was the home to many AC electrics being a short distance from Euston it is now a long term stabling point for the many class 710 London Overground EMUs that still have yet to enter anything like squadron service. At the time of writing some are operating on the Barking to Gospel Oak line but in limited numbers and nearly two years behind schedule. Meanwhile, the brand new units are moved around by staff for what purpose than to turn their wheels? Here 710257 is eased at walking pace out of a siding for it then to go into the shed. I don't know what it is about the UK railway network but why can't new stock be tested and ready for an introduction to a schedule with no 'issues'?
