After setting up camp, I am unsure as to wherethis was, we made a nocturnal visit to Luton station. I would have borrowed Graham's tripod to take this photograph of Luton North signal box. On a Saturday night, things would be relatively quiet for the signalman on duty, but at times this would be a busy place to work. This is another example of a Midland Type 2B constructed sometime towards the end of the nineteenth century. |
