It is hauling the outward leg of The Cumbrian Mountain Express that I believe it took from Carnforth with the train originating somewhere else. I have checked on Google Earth and this view is no longer available due to rampant and uncontrolled tree growth both above the tunnel mouth below and within the cutting itself.
