Some five miles into its journey, with one hundred and fifteen to go (according to the milepost) 90036 'Driver Jack Mills' powers the rear of the 13.54 Newark Northgate to King's Cross. It is purely coincidental that this Class 90's DB livery is such a close match to the former Virgin East Coast paint scheme as applied to the superb Mk. IV stock. This location is down a green lane just south of the village of Claypole at a foot crossing known as Hough Lane. Notice the up Claypole loop to the left of the train.
