Poster, Grantham station
A poster displayed on Grantham station helping passengers find their way about the Azuma trains that were introduced to public service the following day. As somebody who regularly carries a bicycle on trains, I am concerned about the retrograde step on east coast services that means that there is a limited number of pre-travel reservations for bikes. This is in common with some other TOCs and is a reflection of the reduction in space compared to the HSTs and class 92 DVTs that are being replaced. I am not sure that this move is going to encourage a more environmentally friendly and joined-up approach to integrated travel that is something that we should all be conscious of.
