Having surmounted Stoke summit and passed through the tunnel, DVT 82201 is leading the 09.45 Leeds to London King's Cross with 91112 pushing at the rear. The train is about to pass under High bridge near the village of Westby between Grantham and Peterborough. It is interesting to compare this scene with a photograph taken at the same location in August 1978 that illustrates the result of unmanaged embankments and is the reason why the team of NR staff is seen in the distance starting on what will prove to be a pretty mammoth task of tree clearance!
