Taken rather into the sun from the lofty heights of the appropriately named High bridge 158862 works the 08.57 Norwich to Liverpool Lime Street. This is a bridge that I first visited back in August 1978, then, the view was much more open with the virtual absence of trees on the embankments and obviously with no electrification hardware. However, the high tension transmission wires and pylons are still there, see https://www.ontheupfast.com/v/photos/21936chg/25410359604/x55017-15-00-london-kings-cross-aberdeen The other difference worth noting is the difference in what is seen running then and now!
