The village of Swayfiled is approximately two-thirds of the way up Stoke Bank from the south in a very quiet area of east Lincolnshire. The bucolic peace and quiet are periodically broken by passing trains on the ECML such as 158012 working the 06.47 Liverpool Lime Street to Norwich. It is seen in the glorious spring sunshine on the up slow line, however, I was not so lucky with the sun in August 1978 but the subject matter was a whole lot more exciting, see....
