Ketton signal box (Mid, 1900) I have a number of photographs of Ketton signal box over the years and very little has changed since the first one was taken in 1981. The 1900 Midland structure still retains many of its original features from its windows, the finials and the balcony now in use to hold plant pots! Unfortunately, the wooden steps have been replaced by a horrible galvanized carbuncle and the gates superseded by barriers way back in 1974. The box and associated semaphores are scheduled for replacement very soon. Keywords: Ketton signal box
