Construction is under way of the new Boughton station that

will mark the southern extension of the Northampton and Lamport Railway. This will allow locomotives to run round for the first time on the line. It should popular with visitors given its proximity to the northern suburbs of Northampton and the very popular Windhover pub. However, there may well be issues with car parking.
