Shunters, stored, Redcar steelworks With the blast furnace of the former Redcar steelworks dominating the skyline, two of the mothballed English Electric Stephenson 750bhp shunters are seen. The storage of these unidentified shunters actually predates the closure of the works having been taken out of service in 2010 when new NSB Di 8 shunters were introduced these being leased from Norwegian Railways.
