86259, outward leg of The Pennine Blackpool Express, 07.10 London Euston-Blackpool North (1Z86), Ashton Road bridge Looking absolutely superb (as usual) 86259 'Les Rss/Peter Pan' passes on the down fast line between Roade and Ashton with The Pennine Blackpool Express. Utilising the the usual 1Z86 path, the train left Euston at 07.10 and ran to Blackpool. Here steam took the train to Hellifield via Wennington and then back again to Preston. Then, 86259 brought the train back south again to Euston where it arrived one minute early at 22.55. After taking this picture, I took a rapid walk home around the field behind me for a cup of tea and some breakfast.
