 On the approach to Shrewsbury station, with the castle in the background, 08068, 40112 and 08055 are seen stabled in the loading bay sidings. All these locomotives ended heir days being cut up at Swindon works in 1983, 1981 and 1983 respectively. Both the shunters were out-sheded from Crewe Diesel Depot. 08055 was an early example that was allocated to Woodford Halse (38E) on the Great Central when new from the works
