 The doors are open on 55821 that is one carriage of set 144021. This is a travelling experience that many people in the north will soon be missing as these second generation DMUs are withdrawn from service by the end of this year. The doors shown here contribute to the noisy, draughty and cold travelling experience as the brush seals around the door are so ineffective. Indeed, when I last travelled on a Pacer, I was able to watch the track pass by below the train through the gaps!
