The cleared expanse of the old platform five at Wellingborough

station. Over the coming few years, this scene will be transformed as the platform is brought back into use with the footbridge extended from the station and a whole new entrance and car park built on the land behind the bank. This is all part of the Stanton Cross housing scheme that will transform the somewhat Cinderella like town of Wellingborough.
