I bet that the planners and developers curse the old c.1857 Wellingborough goods shed as it it occupies a prime site between the new station car park and the station. However, quite rightly, it's a listed structure and, as such, it cannot be demolished or altered in any way without a great deal of planning and the agreement of Historic England and a number of other agencies. Designed by C.H. Driver for the Midland Railway its is built of red brick with yellow and blue brick dressings and slate roof.
