The road off to the left in this picture was

the old entrance road down to Wellingborough station. The new entrance road is a much reduced affair beyond the fencing where the man is walking. The old entrance will soon become part of the road linking this part of the town to the huge new Stanton Cross development to the east of the town. An enormous new bridge has been built just north of the station to carry the link road.
