The 5Q23 15.14 Peterborough to York arrived a little late caused by the appalling congestion following a death on the line at Chester-Le-Street resulting in mass northbound cancellations. This was my first close-up look at the Azuma and I have to say I thought that they looked very nice. The livery looks smart and very modern but as with all white/grey paintwork, in service they are likely to be a devil to keep looking clean and presentable.
