43015 emerges from the depths of Box tunnel. The tunnel was opened, without great pomp in 1841, having taken just four years to construct. The west portal, seen here, was completed sometime after the tunnel's opening and is built to a grand classical style, the east portal is more modest being built in brick, both are Grade II listed.
