Interior, 800033 An interior picture of 800033 whilst it waits at Paddington to depart with the 11.20 to Worcester Foregate Street. This was my first trip on an IET and only for about fifteen minutes as far as Slough. However, here is my initial assessment......... Positives - Rapid acceleration, very light and airy, plenty of legroom, a generally pleasant ambience. Negatives - Surprisingly noisy, the ride was choppy, the seats were very hard and unforgiving, maybe too bright, the seating moquette was a bit drab and already showing some signs of wear in places. An odd observation.....notice that there are printed seat reservations placed in the slots on top of the seatbacks, these as well as the computerised reservations on the displays on the luggage racks!
