A lot of activity at the former Warren Road level

crossing on the Folkestone Harbour branch. The crossing infrastructure has been removed as have the tracks to the north of the road with the trackbed having been levelled. It's a shame that the branch has been closed. It's importance during both world wars was vital to the war effort with thousands of troops traversing the short branch thus affording them direct access to the vessels moored in the harbour.
