W94062, stored, Pitsford sidings Between 1956 and 1960, British Railways constructed nearly a thousand general utility vehicles (GUVs). There are still a few still in service on the mainline but, surprisingly, a very small number have made it into preservation. The NLR has two in its portfolio, this one is a former Wester Region piece of stock as W94062.
