As can be seen from the foreground, the old Pianoforte site in Roade has been flattened, a task that took two years due to higher than expected levels of polluted ground that needed dealing with. Soon, this land will morph into a huge housing development thus blocking any view of the line from this position. Incidentally, this housing development has not been welcomed by many in the village of Roade, including us, as it will impinge on our view (Bloody NIMDYs!)
