As there was steam heading out along the Border's Railway

the following day I thought I would try for something other than a station shot. I had spied the steps, later found out to be called Jacob's Ladder, that climb steeply up over Carlton Tunnels to the east of the station. I thought that there might be an opportunity for some interesting pictures and my hunch was correct with a great view of the throat of Waverley station below.
