Kingmoor (No.2) signal box (BR, 1963) Kingmoor Number 2 signal box is a considerable state of disrepair. It was constructed to control the movement in and out of Kingmoor yard and was opened by British Railways in 1963 but only lasted a ridiculous ten years in use following the commissioning of the Carlisle PSB. The box contained a Westinghouse Miniature Control Desk entrance-exit signalling panel. After closure it became a relay room but I am not sure if it is still performing this role now?
